Staten Island teen facing felony charges after stealing from his parents

By TIM RONALDSON

Some kids nowadays just have no respect. Take 17-year-old David Latoni from Prince’s Bay: He apparently stole two watches, five gold rings and a gold bracelet from his mother’s home in Tottenville, according to an SILive report.

David’s mother found the stolen goods in a car that he “had exclusive access to.” At least the teen was honest and fessed up to the theft: “I stole jewelry from my house,” he said, according to court papers.

Latoni is being charged with third-degree grand larceny and third-degree possession of stolen property.
