Fuquan Tilghman is off to jail for a week after following women around in the T.J. Maxx on Forest Avenue and fondling his genitals.

In this classic quote from the Staten Island Advance, Tilghman allegedly told police, “I find a pretty girl I like, I put my hand down my pants and I do it. I have a problem.”

Yes. Yes he does.

The 33-year-old resident of South Avenue pleaded guilty in Stapleton Criminal Court on Tuesday to misdemeanor public lewdness, and received a seven-day sentence.

This will be one of Tilghman’s shorter stays in prison, though. He has been in and out of jail since his first eight-year stretch in 1995 to 2003 for shooting and wounding a 45-year-old New Jersey man of Broadway and a 20-year-old Brooklyn man on Henderson Avenue.

So cheer up. As loaded guns go, this isn’t even the worst one he’s carried around.
