Eltingville man breaks into the same dry cleaners twice in one day

By BARRY LANK

A man from Eltingville has been charged with breaking into the same dry cleaners twice in the same day to get cash out of the register.

Police say Peter Mattina, 44, of Robinson Avenue entered Nelson Cleaners on Nelson Avenue Sunday at 12:30 a.m., and again at 6 p.m., according to this story in the Staten Island Advance.

Both times, he entered through the rear window, and was caught on video, authorities said.

Presumably, the first time, he had forgotten his ticket.
