Driver in fatal crash now charged with previous outburst

Brian Pittsley, during his arrest for the fatal Aug. 29 crash in Great Kills.

More charges of bad behavior for Brian Pittsley, according to the New York Post.

The man who fled the fatal car crash in Great Kills two weeks ago has now been accused of an outburst that took place two days before the accident.

Staff at Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton said Pittsley is the man who busted up their psych ward on Aug. 27. He allegedly broke a window while visiting a friend. Authorities apparently could not track him down, however, until they saw him in the news a few days later, after the crash.

Causing a lot of damage and leaving the scene is, of course, what he is accused of in the Aug. 29 accident. Witnesses say he was driving recklessly with a car full of teenagers when he blew through a stop sign, clipped another car and rolled over, killing one of his passengers and severing another passenger’s arm.
