Two men, four commercial burglaries, in about two weeks in August

Four commercial burglaries in August apparently trace back to the same two men, police said.

Police released photos to the Staten Island Advance of two men they say broke into a restaurant, a retail store, a grocery store and a fast food restaurant – all over the course of about 16 days.

Cafe Luna in Grasmere got hit on Aug. 9, when burglars got in through a side window and stole cash and clothing. The Lot-Less Closeout store in Oakwood got a visit the next night, when men entered through a side window and took cash.

Alba International Food on Hylan Boulevard came next, on Aug. 13, when more cash vaporized. Then came a Burger King in Dongan Hills on Aug. 25. But, apparently, the men couldn’t find anything they wanted.

The camera at the Lot-Less got a look at them, though. Check out the pictures here, here, and here.

If you know these guys – and you don’t like them anyway – call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), or do it through their web site.
