Lady Gaga films in Staten Island, and her devoted legions follow

Some young people camp out near Wall Street to try to change our economic system. But the ones camping out around here just want to see Lady Gaga.

How do you feel about that? Disappointed? Relieved?

Doesn’t matter. She who champions the disenfranchised has come to our disenfranchised borough.

She’s set up shop at the Music Hall in Snug Harbor to film a music video for “Marry the Night.” The Staten Island Advance describes camps of fans traveling here from all over.

They’re doing anything they can just to catch a glimpse of her, the Advance reports. Five high school students even managed to sneak backstage on the set before a bouncer tossed them out, according to the New York Daily News.
