25 cars got their tires slashed because two teens were bored?

A couple of bored teenagers in South Beach managed to slash tires on 25 vehicles over the course of nearly a month before police caught up with them Monday night, authorities said.

Police said they linked Tiana Bello, 16, and Jesus Vazquez, 17, to these incidents after catching them trespassing in a Grasmere graveyard after hours, according to the Staten Island Advance. Sources told the Advance that Bello had two kitchen knives with her when she was arrested.

Both suspects live in the South Beach Houses public housing complex, near most of their alleged victims.

Authorities said 11 of the 25 attacks did more than $250 in damage, which is enough to merit felony charges. The Advance even found one woman whose car had been hit on two occasions, exactly a week apart.
