Staten Island woman who clones her dead dog makes TV appearance on TLC

In case you missed it, a Staten Island woman appeared on cable TV last night, cloning her dead dog.

Danielle Tarantola appeared on the TLC show “I Cloned My Pet,” talking about her dog Trouble, which was more important to her than (and she states this pretty directly) every human being on earth.

It’s been three years since the dog died, and Tarantola would not throw away anything he touched – including some chicken she had been feeding him.

That’s right, three-year-old leftover chicken – which she looks at in revulsion during one scene of the show, then puts back in the refrigerator.

Aaaaaanyway, because we are living the in End Times, Tarantola saved some of the dog’s DNA and gave it to Korean scientists for replication. Last night’s show showed Tarantola awaiting the results of the process – and also, by the way, showed civilization spinning down a K-hole of indulgence and despair.

But eventually, she got a puppy. A puppy! Yay!
